MNQ Case Review: A Correct Stop Can Still Lose
The market idea existed before the order. The stop marked the point where that hypothesis stopped making sense; it was not placed at a financially comfortable distance.
Price reached the invalidation. I did not move the stop, add size or create a new explanation to stay in the trade. The loss was controlled because the decision rule was respected.
The lesson is not to avoid every stop. It is to separate a losing outcome from poor risk management and to improve context without breaking the plan.
